This is an off-topics page from my usual WealthMountains site. I will not be discussing about money-making techniques or tips here. Instead, I will touch on another aspect of WealthMountains, "Family Growth". Without a family, even if you amass enormous wealth, you will feel empty. Spent special time with your family as what I did. Create memories.

Today is the 18 Sep 05. I had just spent a joyous and memorable night out with my wife. Today is also the mid-autumn festival. In Chinese history, this symbolizes a day where family gathers around for quality time. I did just that today.

After working non-stop over a few weeknights and weekends on my Internet business, I decided to stop for a while and spent some time with my wife. We took time out for eating moon-cake celebration (part of mid-autumn festival). Did some shopping as well.

This was followed by "Snow Wolf Lake", a musical by the versatile Hong Kong singer and actor Jackie Cheung. A combination of pop music and a Hollywood-style musical, the mandarin version of "Snow Lake Wolf" stars Jackie Cheung, Nnadia Chan and Evonne Hsu. Jackie said that he joined the production because it might be his only chance to make a musical soundtrack. "Snow Wolf Lake" has been applauded as one of the most important Chinese-language musicals since its debut in 1997.

And I must say this was a really great musical. The memories of our joys and tears during this whole musical will be a memory that we share together. Such memories are priceless. From the musical, I learnt that we need to treasure our love ones while they are still alive. I didn't understand this point previously even though my mentor, Robert Allen, had stressed on it a few times before during our weekly phone talks.

Hence, do remember to spent quality time with your families. Created more happy and lasting memories with them. This will make your life more meaningful. Your pursue for wealth will have another dimension added to it. Life is about balance.
