After you setup a website to sell your product and have decent success in conversing visitors to buyers, what else can you do to increase your sales further?

There is a simple one.

You add streaming audios onto your website. This can potentially increase your sales by up to 35% depending on the niche market that you are in!

The top 3 reasons how website audio can help yours sales are as follow:

Reason 1: The way visitor use your website

A significant number of visitors are more receptive to audio rather than visual words. By adding streaming audio on your sales page, you increase your chances of it being 'read' by your visitors. You hit 2 of their senses with your marketing messages.

If you are an affiliate selling books, then most likely you are an associate for Amazon, one of the World's biggest online bookstore. The updates below would be good news to you.

Recently I noticed that Amazon has added 2 free tools to their associate central member area. They are namely the Omakase Links (beta) and aStore (Beta). I have done some testings with these 2 tools and below are my observations.

First Addition: Omakase Links (beta)

This is a javascript which automatically feature products that visitors to the page are most likely to buy. With Omakase Links, you do not need to chose which product, product line or even keyword that best fits a page. The algorithms will optimize product offerings based on what you has been successful with in the past; what that user has been interested in; as well as what the site is about.

You can choose the available options and the format of the ads to be shown on your site. Treat this like an Adsense ads and blend it into your site (eg. match it to the colour scheme of your webpage for higher click-through).

In my testing, I found that the webpage must be viewed a few times (in one niche, it took around 4 times) before Omakase Links will optimize the ads for that page. For example, on 1 of my site focusing on Adsense articles, it was able to show recomendation for Adsense books correctly.

However, on another niche site, irrelevant ads still shows up no matter how many times I viewed the page. This affected my click-through-rate on those webpage. Imagine seeing an Amazon ad on "Teleseminar Marketing" on my Bakery site and you understand why this is not helping in my sales.Nevertheless, this is still a good tool to use on your website. Do TEST it out before you fully deployed it for your niche.

On another note, as this tool uses its algorithm to detect what the site is about, I have a gut feel that you would not be able to place an Adsense ads and a Omakase ads on the same webpage. This could be a violation of Google Adsense TOS if you do so. Google does not allow a similar contextual-text ads to be on the same webpage that its Adsense ads are on.

So for the moment, avoid placing Amazon Omakase and Google Adsense ads on the same webpage.

Second Addition: aStore (beta)

This new aStore can be embedded on your site so when visitors order they never leave your site and it appears as though the shopping cart is right on your domain. One of the ways Amazon suggests doing this is with an iframe. Below are my observations of this new tool:

• You can add a maximum of 9 products on 1 storefront. You choose and decide which 9 products (eg. books, CD etc) to be included. One suggestion to consider, group your storefront on 1 topic so that it serves you better.
  
  
• You have 8 themes to choose from. You can also change the colours of the background, fonts and what to displayed. You can also set the title of your stores and make it to fit into your site. However in my testing, I found that you can only setup 1 Amazon aStore. You cannot customize multiple stocks for different niches. If you need that functionality, wait for my review in next issue. I am experiment using another tool. You can see that separate testing page at my Internet Book Store here.
  
  
• aStore allows you to present your Amazon store in 3 ways (I test out 2 of the methods):
  - As a simple link to your store as a standalone site
  - Embed the store using an inline frame
  - Embed my store using a frameset.
  The later 2 options would blend better into your website.
  
  
• I noticed that due to the way Amazon is displaying the store, your page is recommending to be at least 700 pixel wide. If you have a smaller width, part of your store will be hidden (see my example above). You should also add some content for the embed store so that the search engine can spider your storefront.

These two additions by Amazon is definitely a good step towards helping its affiliate in promoting its products. You no longer need to play around with datafeeds handling if this meets your requirement. Do test around this tool.

The most talk-about news in the Internet Marketing space in Aug 06 must be on the product "Web Law Generator" that had violated the copyright of Bob Silber. Bob is now out to protect his rights by threatening to sue those who continues to use the templates generated from this tool.

For those unfamiliar, "Web Law Generator" is a $47 software tool that was sold on the Internet with Master Resell Rights. It was meant to help create Legal templates that you can place on your website (for your TOS or disclaimer etc)

Bob Silber (owner of the Legal templates) claims that he had not given out his rights for those Legal templates to be sold. Hence, he is seriously looking into this. He contacted and threatened to sue some of the big marketers such as Mike Filsaime. To be fair to those marketers, they were not aware of this infringement in the first place when they use the tool.

In the end, this was settled by paying $3,000 to buy over the rights for those templates by each marketers who wants to continue to use the templates.

Hence, if you are using "Web Law Generator" to generate any templates for your site, take my advice and take them down immediately!

If you are looking for alternatives, try the following:

Option 1: Get Your Lawyers To Help You Craft The TOS, disclaimers etc

This is an expensive option but you should consider this if you are running a serious and big business. This should be part of your business expenses. Don't save on pennies and paid pounds in the end.

Option 2: Check Out the Legal Resources Sites

I got the following tips from Charles Smith. You may find useful forms in these two free legal resource sites:

• Lectric Law Library Forms ( http://www.lectlaw.com/form.html )This site claims to be the largest collection of free legal forms on the Web. Forms are divided into two broad areas: law practice and business and general. There is also a section on Premium Forms that links to the commercial vendor U.S. Legal Forms, Inc. where forms can be purchased. Law practice forms are subdivided into general practice and litigation. Most of these forms are free, however, use diligence in checking their accuracy, currency, and validity
  
  
• Another source for free legal forms is from the Internet Legal Resource Guide( http://www.ilrg.com/forms/ ).These forms cover a variety of topics, including basic agreements, employment, leases, transfers, and other areas of legal practice.

This is a followup on my previous posting "Do You Own Any Virtual Adsense Real Estate?" at http://wealthmountains.blogspot.com/2006/08/do-you-own-any-virtual-adsense-real.html

Wow, as expected the launch of "Adsense Real Estate" was heavily promoted by a few big guns during the week of its launch. Michael Cheney as usual has done up a video which shows the pros and cons of this membership site.

Below is my take on this huge membership site.

1. First on the Pricing

The initial investment for AdsenseRealEstate is $397. Thereafter, you are offered 3 different levels:

Agent Membership - $197 per month: 2 Unique Sites per month + 4 Pre-made Sites (unique to this membership level)

Developer Membership - $247 per month: 3 Unique Sites per month + 6 Pre-made Sites (unique to this membership level)

Mogul Membership - $297 per month: 4 Unique Sites per month + 8 Pre-made Sites (unique to this membership level)

No doubt this will look steep to most online newbies. Hence, I find that this service is not for everyone. It is only for serious Adsense Earners who knows what Adsense is about and wants to an extra help to build up his/her Adsense Real Estate fast.

To illustrate this point further on how to benefit from this membership site, let's assume you are on Agent membership (ie. Level 1). You get 6 sites in 1 month of which 2 are customized based on your request.

For comparison purpose, I do an averaging. At $197,

• Each websites need to earn $32.83 (=197 / 6) in 1 month
• Each websites need to earn $1.09 (=32.83 / 30) in 1 day

To meet the above target, you NEED TO CHOOSE YOUR NICHE wisely. If you choose the wrong niche, you could be only paid pennies for each clicks.

This means you need to go for those competitive niches (eg. financial) Choose your keywords carefully when you submit them to "Adsense Real Estate" for creation. This will ensure you get a better chance of beating the average.

Bottomline: Plan your keywords well and let them help you build the site.

2. Second on getting Traffic

Even if you have a great Adsense website, you will not earn UNLESS you get TRAFFIC! This is often the missing key that I see missing in most newbies sites.

At "Adsense Real Estate", they provided the following:

• Free Link to a PR5 Website - If you purchase one of their content sites they will place a One Way Anchored Text Link on their PR5 Web Design Site that will help get your site spidered quickly and help with your Page Rank. I understand this link will remain on the site as long as you are a member.
  
  
• Link Network - They are developing a link network to link members sites together and help build back links to your sites.

The above will help you get your website indexed. Depending on how the PR5 website link is setup, it may help to bring traffic to your websites.

Unfortunately as at the time of writing this review, the above 2 points are not ready for review. Hence, I am not able to comment on its effectiveness. But in theory, it will help (when done correctly).

However, having said the above, do remember to check out the 24-pages eBook "Generating Traffic Report" under their "Tools And Resources" sections. It contains 8 ways to help generate traffic to your websites.

3. Tools in the members area

The Videos and Tools in the member areas is most useful for those who are just starting out. There are videos tutorial series showing how to:

• Use your hosting cPanel
• Use your Wordpress Blogging tool

There are a big handful of useful ebooks and tools in their "Tools And Resources". This includes

• Generating Traffic
• Understanding Adsense
• Easy Article Submitter
• ARE Google Sitemap Creator
• Profitable Article Marketing
• RSS Encyclopedia
• Push Button Article Re-Writer
• RSS Feed Submitter
• ... and much more

Depending on your level of expertise, you will find some which are of use to you. I understand that the owner Jon is going to add more to this sections.

There are also other sections in the member areas which are still under construction. But it does gives you an idea of what's coming. Some neat add-ons like community-based forums, content resources, social bookmark sites etc.

4. In conclusion

After looking at the features offer, this would be a good tool to add to your Google Adsense arsenal IF you know what to plan for. The tools and resources provided are excellent. However, if you are new and don't have an idea of where the profitable niches are (ie. the high-paying keywords), then you may want to wait and learn elsewhere first before hopping on this ride.

I visited this site upon recommendation from a friend and I was very impressed to say the least. I've heard of Virtual Real Estate (VRE) and how people are making tons of money developing it but I don't have the time or skills to do it myself.

I was previously sucked into the hype surrounding 'cookie cutter websites' which promises to give you Adsenses websites that can earn you gold ...

This is nothing more far away from the truth. In fact, all this websites will most likely be de-indexed due to duplicate content problem. With this de-indexing, goes your Adsense dreams.
